The purpose of the 2010 SBSD Mud Run is to bring together family and friends of the community with public safety members throughout Southern California for a fun day in the sun and MUD! It involves obstacles, mud pits, low crawls, sand, dirt and water for each runner to tackle during the course of the race. It is set in a boot camp styled atmosphere where a combination of regular citizens, law enforcement, fire department, companies, teams colleges and military personnel compete together. Individual runners can enter the event or groups of five can enter as a team to promote team camaraderie. This year it benefits Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Sheriff's Employee Assistance Team (S.E.A.T.) and Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Where else can you have good clean fun and get dirty doing it!
